Proposal of the Strategic Plan for the Import of the Bulgarian Product

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá kritickou analýzou možnosti importu a následné marketingové strategie importu Bulharského produktu Kiselo Mlyako danou společností na trh České Republiky. Cílem práce je zjistit, jestli je tento produkt vhodný pro daný trh a jestli je tento strategický tah úspěšný. V práci jsou popsány informace důležité k provedení praktické části práce, která obsahuje analýzu trhu i společnosti, která by daný strategický návrh provedla. Práce dále obsahuje souhrn informací, které byly z jednotlivých analýz zjištěny a doporučení, které by společnost měla podstoupit. V poslední řadě je vytvořený stručný finanční plán.
Use of polymerase chain reaction (PCR) technique for identification of probiotic microorganisms in milk diary product

In this bachelor thesis, probiotic bacteria and their beneficial effects on human health were described. Several methods that are used to identify microorganisms were also stated. At the beginning of the experimental part, DNA was isolated from a selected dairy product. DNA extraction was made in two ways, both of which provided sufficiently high-quality DNA. The prepared DNA was subjected to polymerase chain reaction using specific primers. The presence of bacteria of the genus Lactobacillus, Bifidobacterium and the species Lactobacillus acidophilus, which were declared by the yogurt manufacturer, was proved by electrophoresis on agarose gel.

Sensory properties of yogurt depending on various fruit composition

Diploma thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The literary review is related to classification and chemical composition of yogurts and technological procedures in yogurt production. There is also a chapter on methods and application of sensory analysis in food industry. The aim of thesis was to evaluate three samples of yogurts differing in composition of strawberry mixture using the sensory profile and preference test. Questionnaire survey on consumer habits was a part of the research. The evaluators were students of the Faculty of Agriculture at the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice and schoolchildren of Elementary School in Velešín.
Intake of milk and dairy product at schoolchildren (importace)

My thesis concerns milk and dairy products intake by schoolchildren, more precisely, I compare the factual intake of these products by schoolchildren with a recommended daily intake. The theoretical part of my thesis consists of characterizing milk and dairy products as well as describing composition and production of these kind of commodities. Furthermore, in this part, I will deal with the issue of diseases connected to milk intake (low intake, normal intake). For the practical part of my thesis I chose a questionnaire form that consists of two separate parts. The first one is about the intake of milk and dairy products in long term. The second part is focused on the intake of milk and dairy products in one week. In the questionnaire I prepared for the purposes of my thesis there are 50 children involved. Half of them are pupils of Sir Nicholas Winton elementary school in Kunžak whose age ranges between 6 and 12 years. The second half of surveyed children are students of Business school of T. G. Masaryk in Jindřichův Hradec those students are either 15 or 16 years old. Because of accuracy of my results, the questionnaires for pupils of elementary school in Kunžak were filled by children's parents. The research was done in December 2016. After having all the questionnaires returned, I processed the results and described weekly amount of milk and dairy products that the children consume. Afterwards, the results were compared to the recommendation according to the attachment of act n. 150/2005 Sb., o školním stravování. Moreover, I put the intake of milk and dairy products into the program Nutriservis where I focused on the intake of calcium and phosphorus. Those micronutrients are important for children's body and its growth. In the end of my thesis I present my suggestions to take remedial action to the situation discovered in the thesis.
Market of selected organic commodities (organic milk)

The aim of thesis was to analyze the South Bohemian organic dairy production and distribution of organic milk. The thesis focuses on farm production, distribution channels and the application of the regional market. Through the processing of data from the database of the Institute of Agriculture Economics and Information and a questionnaire survey conducted at the level of organic farmers farming in the South Bohemian Region with a valid certificate for the milk production was assessed the development and the current market situation of organic milk production in the South Bohemian Region.
